Getting there
Malta is an island situated under Sicily in the heart of the Mediterranean where Corel was born and raised.
In order to get there you’ll need to fly to Malta International Airport (MLA), currently served by numerous airlines including British Airways, Lufthansa, Swiss Airlines, ITA Airways & Air France.
Please note that you’ll need to connect to another major European city. Which means, yes, you should absolutely parlay this wedding into your dream European vacation! We recommend Italy, Germany, Greece, England, Switzerland, and France as the easiest (and most dreamy) connecting countries.
Accomodations
The wedding festivities will be taking place mostly in Valletta, which is the capital city of Malta. Below you will find our recommendation of hotels and AirBnb’s nearby - but feel free to do your research and pick a place that fits your budget. Please note that September is very much peak season in Malta, so early booking is highly recommended.

Important Note
Rental or cab?
Malta drives on the left side of the road, which depending on the person, may either be a fun challenge or a headache you may want to avoid. Rental cars are abundantly available to pick up at the airport, however, if you’d rather cab it you’ll have the option to use Uber or Bolt - which is Malta’s equivalent car service app. Our recommendation is to stick to cabs since alcohol will be involved, transportation will also be provided after the wedding festivities.
